Materials Used":
Under 'Natural Wood Finish', the wood will be Cherry unless requested otherwise. Items may also be ordered in Maple and Walnut.
Under 'Painted Finish', the wood will be our choice of any of the above plus Soft Maple or Poplar. We do not paint the insides of the boxes in keeping with tradition (the Shakers did not, primarily because the boxes were often used for storage of foodstuffs) and to try and keep your cost down.
'Exotic' refers to boxes made from one of the primary 'natural' finishes but having a top made of spalted, burl, curly, quilted or any of the other figured hardwoods. Refer to "Woods we Use" for photos of these woods.

5 When 'Exotics" are referred to herein, it refers to: Quilted Maple, Birds-eye Maple, all the 'curly' woods, Burls, Crotches, and all imported hardwood.
6 Prices are for standard height carrier which is 1/2 the height of the corresponding same-size box. For "Tall" Carriers, add 10% to price listed.
Please note that sizes may vary slightly due to thickness of the wood, moisture content, etc. And, actual colors may vary slightly from the color chart due to differences in printers, web browsers, etc.
